Can I book a party or school visit outside of these areas?
Bookings for all areas of the UK can be discussed, subject to a mileage fee. Please get in touch with your enquiry and we’ll do our best to accommodate your booking.
Do you bring all of your own equipment?
All of our party entertainers will bring their own PAT tested equipment such as:
Speakers
DJ lighting Rig
Extension cables
Music devices
Retractable safety barriers
What makes you different from other party entertainers?
We won’t make you choose a themed party or a disco, we can give you both! Meaning there really is something for everyone and it’s guaranteed to make your party stand out from the rest!
7-12 Parties:
Illuminate Arts entertainers are all performing arts industry professionals of stage and television and have extensive experience working with children. Your musical theatre or dance party will be choreographed and directed by a true professional and will give your party guests a real insight into the performing arts world.
4-7 parties:
Themed parties are packed with adventure, and aimed to make every child feel like they’ve been transported into the pages of a story book. Your leader will be energetic but also attentive and encouraging to the not so confident ones among the group, allowing everyone to be involved and giving all of your party guests the best experience.
Which party should I choose?
All of our party themes are extremely popular. Speaking to the party child to get their input is a really great way to give them exactly what they’d like and this way you can both get excited in the run up to the big event.
What music do you play?
We play a mixture of music including lyric free background tracks that will set a magical tone for your themed adventure as well as mainstream classics to really get your party guests dancing.
All of our music is family friendly, great care is taken to ensure there is nothing explicit for little listeners.
Can I make a music request?
Of course! Our entertainers will be happy to help make your party as personal to you and your guests as possible. You can let us know below or on the day of the event if you have any special music requests.
Do you supply the food?
Food and drinks are not supplied by Illuminate Arts.
Do your entertainers wear costumes?
Our entertainers arrive in Illuminate arts T-shirts and black trousers.
They will then change into a costume to suit your chosen theme, before your guests arrive.
For our dance and musical theatre parties your entertainers will stay in their Illuminate attire.
Do your entertainers do character appearances?
We do not do character do character appearances, solely for copy right purposes.
What is the maximum amount of children I can have?
To give your little guests the most amount of personal attention and engagement from the themed adventure, we advise a maximum of 30 children. If you choose to have more than 30 children a second party leader will be needed to assist, at an additional cost.
Do you give out sweets and treats?
For allergy reasons, we do not give out anything edible to the party guests.
The theme I want isn’t on your website?
If you have a theme in mind that you can’t see, please contact us and we will help to create something bespoke for your event.
Are entertainers DBS checked?
All of our entertainers are DBS checked and carry their certificates with them to every event.
Do you have insurance?
Illuminate Arts entertainers have public liability insurance of up to £5 million. A certificate can be provided upon request to your venue.
Can I leave the entertainer on their own to run the party?
At least one other adult must be present with the entertainer at all times for the duration of the party. Illuminate Arts entertainers are not responsible for the wellbeing of the children taking part at any time.
Can parent stay to watch?
Our entertainers use different vocal techniques to create drama and magic that will engage the children during the themed party, this can however be lost in a room full of talking parents. Parent are welcome to stay with their children but we advise that they are seated separately from the themed drama activities during the first part of the party, to minimise disruption and give your little guests the best time.
How do I book a party?

Will I speak to my entertainer before the event?
Your entertainer will contact you 7 days prior to the event to finalise details.
What time will my entertainer arrive?
Your entertainer will arrive at least 30 minutes before for themed parties and 20 minutes before for musical theatre and dance parties.

How long are the parties?
Our themed parties are 1.5 hours which includes 40 minute themed adventure, 20 minute food break, 30 minute disco.
2 hour parties are also available, extending your disco time to 60 minutes.
Musical theatre and dance parties are 1 hour but can be extended to 1.5 or 2 hours if you would like to finish with a disco.
What time is best to have my child’s party?
Weekend parties between the hours of 10:30 and 3pm are most popular and book up fast. You could also consider a mid week early evening party at a discounted rate?
What are your terms and conditions?
Once you have made your date enquiry, you will be sent a full set of T&C’s to review before paying a deposit and securing your booking.
